Tryzub owns costumes for approximately 12 different regions and styles of dances, which make up a large portion of Tryzub's assets. There are over 1000 individual pieces. Many of the costume pieces have come from Ukraine, while other pieces are stitched together lovingly by dedicated volunteers, and the dancers themselves. The ladies costumes are especially intricate, many of them comprising of 6 or more individual pieces - blouse, slip, skirt, apron, poyas, vest, beads and headpiece. Many of the intricate ladies headpieces and wreathes have been made by hand.
All costume pieces are owned by the Ensemble, with the dancers being responsible for care and maintenance of the pieces in their possession. The dancers transport the costumes in custom-made costume bags donated to the ensemble, and makes great uses of hat boxes for care and transport of the valuable headpieces.
